Factors affecting tension of stretch film
Zhanhuixin is a professional stretch film manufacturer. The surface tension of the stretch film depends on the free energy of the plastic film, and the surface energy of the stretch film depends on the molecular structure of the film itself.
There are many factors influencing the surface tension, so what are the factors that affect the surface tension of the stretch film?
1. Non-polar polymer, its surface free energy is small, the surface wet tension is low, generally 30 dyne/cm effect. Theoretically, if the surface tension of the object is lower than 33 dyne/cm, ordinary inks or adhesives cannot adhere firmly, so the surface must be treated.
2. The transfer of the aluminized layer will occur when aluminizing, and the transfer of the glue layer will occur when applying glue. The main measure to prevent corona on the reverse side of the film is to adjust the pressure of the rubber pressing roller before the corona treatment roller. The pressure at both ends must be the same, and the pressure must be appropriate.
3. Polyester is a polar polymer, its surface free energy is relatively high, the surface wet tension of the stretched film is above 40 dyne/cm, but for high-speed black printing or to increase the surface of the vacuum aluminized layer and BOPET film The bonding force between the BOPET film also needs to be surface treated to further improve its surface wet tension.
